Topics discussed include the recent cold snap and the bus schedules for the later start time at the high school with Pat Bellino, the district’s continued sustainability efforts with middle school assistant principal Nicole Mangiere, the middle school homework club with some of the students involved, the SMART Bond Act with district CIO Michael Lee and the work of the district facilities committee with Dr. Jeremy Luft, the Director of Learning and Innovative Educational Opportunities.

On this episode of Inside Putnam Valley, Dr. Wills and Eric Gross discuss the exciting new Mandarin Chinese program at the Middle School as well as Spirit Week at the High School, the Kindergarten Mother Goose show, and the benefit concert held to support the people of Puerto Rico.

Eric Gross and Dr. Fran Wills wrap up the end of the school year by saying goodbye and thank you to retiring middle school principal Dr. Ed Hallisey. We also visit the elementary school to see the graduating seniors walk the hall and talk with the valedictorian, Mariana Silva and the salutatorian, Kotoe Abe.
