Don’t miss the chance to see the PVHS TheatreWorks Fall Drama production of Almost, Maine this weekend! Performances are Friday and Saturday evening at 7 pm, and a Sunday matinee at 2 pm.
Dr. Micera, Director of PVHS Choral Music and TheatreWorks, shared the following description of the show:
The title refers to the fictitious town where the play occurs, on one deeply cold and magical midwinter night, the citizens of Almost (not organized enough to be a town, too populated to be a wilderness) experience the life-altering power of the human heart. Relationships end, begin, or change beyond recognition, as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers. Propelled by the mystical energy of the aurora borealis (the “northern lights”) and populated with characters who are humorous, plain-spoken, thoughtful, and sincere, Almost, Maine is a collection of tales about love, each with a compelling couple at its center, each with its own touch of magic.
