Invitation to participate in a review of the District’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values:
As you may recall, several months ago, we established a Superintendent’s Advisory Council, composed of parents and educators. This important group of stakeholders generated the Parent Communication Survey that was sent to families in early April in an effort to gather information regarding preferred methods of communication. We thank you for your participation in that survey.
Our next step is to seek input from all constituent groups within our school community and identify focus areas that will guide our work moving forward. Once identified, this work should provide alignment between our buildings and classrooms; everyone working in one common direction.
Once the process is complete, it is our hope to easily link our District vision, mission, and core values to those already identified by each building. Ultimately, our goal is to support the instructional strategies of our teachers and the development of skills for our students.
Our parent planning session is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, at 6 pm at PVHS. Interested individuals must complete the registration form below so that we can plan accordingly for the evening. Similar opportunities will be provided to our students and staff. After we receive input from all constituent groups, the Superintendent’s Advisory Council will consolidate the information we receive to identify the core values that most accurately represent the PVCSD community.
