Dear PVHS Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Thank you for your patience as we partner together to make hybrid learning successful for students. Our entire staff is working hard to provide the best possible experience for students during these unprecedented and challenging times.

On Wednesday, November 11th, our schools, and offices are closed to commemorate Veterans Day to recognize all those who have served our nation in war or peace. In order to maintain learning for our L-Z cohort, Monday, November 9th will be an all remote day that follows an even block (periods 2,4,6,8) schedule. Students will be notified through their school email of the change.

As a reminder, the first quarter will end shortly on Friday, November 13th. Please discuss with your children if they have any outstanding work that needs to be completed before that date. Grades will be posted by Thursday, November 19th. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teachers and/or guidance counselor.

Thanksgiving week will look slightly different. Again, we do not want our L-Z cohort of students to fall behind. As a result, since there is no school on Wednesday, November 25th, the L-Z cohort will attend in-person learning on Monday, November 23rd. The A-K cohort will attend virtually.

We hope that everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. We are grateful to be a part of this supportive school community with awesome kids!

Sincerely,

Sandra Intrieri, Principal
Matt Mello, Assistant Principal
