We had a very successful first year as an IB World School even through the quarantine closure. Now, more than ever, the IB philosophy of creating balanced, caring, reflective, and open-minded citizens is paramount to student learning. As we build the IB program, we intend on emphasizing the IB concept of international mindedness, as well as actions that foster empathy and understanding towards all in our building.  We will be working this summer to develop programs that embed these ideas as well as strategies to eradicate racism and develop justice for all citizens so that every child feels safe and comfortable in our school.

If you have any questions on any end of the year items mentioned above please feel free to contact Mr. Mello or myself. (mmello@pvcsd.org sintrieri@pvcsd.org)

We hope that the summer provides a respite from the whirlwind that the past few months have been for everyone.

Warm regards,

Dr. Sandra Intrieri
