The fourth quarter is underway, and this is where championships are made! A lot happens in May and June.  Strong organizational and time management skills will go a long way toward success.

3rd Quarter Report Cards

The third quarter is complete.  You have access to your child’s progress and grades through PowerSchool.  We encourage you to contact your child’s teachers with any questions or concerns.  The link to the sign-in page can be found here:  PowerSchool Student and Parent Sign-In.

General AP/IB Exam Information

  • All students enrolled in an AP/IB course are expected to sit for the final assessment.

  • Students need to be in the exam location 15 minutes before the start of the exam.

  • NO electronic devices are allowed in the exam room, including cellphones, smart watches, earbuds, tablets, laptops, and any other Bluetooth or Wi-Fi-accessible devices.

  • Students must stay in the exam location for the entirety of the exam.

  • Students must still attend all of their other classes during the day.

IB External Assessments

Our Year 2 (Seniors) IB students will begin their rigorous assessment schedule on Wednesday, May 1st.

  • Remember that only students enrolled in Year 2 of an IB course have an external assessment they must sit for.

  • IB exams are two-day exams.  

  • Morning exams have to start at 9:00  

  • Afternoon exams have to start at 1:00. Most afternoon exams won’t end until after 3:00.

There is a 4:15 bus run for any students who need transportation home.

June 4th Algebra I Regents – No Classes for Students

NY State Education Department requires all schools to administer the Algebra I Regents on June 4th.   The exam will begin promptly at 8:00 am and last until 11:15ish.  All students need to be here at 7:45 am so we can get them seated and supplied by 8:00 am.  There will be a morning bus run as usual and an 11:45 am bus run to take students home.  All students enrolled in Algebra I must sit for the Algebra I Regents exam.

Regents/Finals Exam Schedule

The last day of classes for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors is Thursday, June 13th.  Regents and final exams begin on Friday, June 14th.  Students must attend school only if they have a Regents or final exam.  Here is the 2024 Regents Exam Schedule.  We are still finalizing the local exam times and dates.

Seniors 

Our senior class looks forward to the end of their high school career.  Senior Week begins June 6th with events planned daily to celebrate the completion of one chapter of their lives and prepare them for their next chapter.  Here is the Senior Week Schedule.  Graduation will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, June 21st, on the athletic field.  We will send out graduation information to all our seniors on June 1st.
