Hello PVHS,
We hope you had a nice weekend and are excited about the start of the 2nd semester. The 3rd Quarter begins tomorrow, and with it, new schedules. Please check your schedules to see what classes you may be enrolled in for the 2nd semester and where the class meets.
Our teachers are finalizing grades for the 2nd quarter and a ConnectEd message will go out to parents by the end of the week. Hopefully, you are all crushing your courses and will be happy with your grades. There should be no surprises with your grades at this point. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your teachers if you have any questions or concerns.
To remind you, our cellphone guidelines require you to put your phone in airplane mode when in class and place your phone in a location specified by the teacher. Your main focus in class is to learn essential skills that will set you up for success no matter what you do next in life. You can control your effort.
Save yourself from your helplessness! If you are not performing as well as you want to, you are the one who can change that. Eliminate excuses and take ownership of your life and your learning. If you need help, take it upon yourself to reach out to the people around you. Our entire staff is here to support you and help you be successful.
