Good Afternoon Students, Parents & Guardians,

Paying for a college education is on the minds of most of our families, and this is a very good thing.  Attending college can be expensive, but it is one of the best investments that a family can make for their children.

The PVHS Guidance Department will host an event to help our families understand the financial aid process.  Ryan DePuy from Iona University will be on hand to present the ins and outs of financial aid to our families and answer questions.

Please join us for Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, October 18th at 6:00 PM in the high school Cafeteria.  This will be an interesting and informative evening.  Families with students in grades 9 – 12 are encouraged to attend.

On another note, we are happy to report that in-person college fairs are back!  These events give students and families the opportunity to speak with admissions counselors from hundreds of colleges and universities and it is a great way to research specific schools.  The upcoming college fair is going to be held at the Jefferson Valley Mall located in Yorktown Heights on Wednesday, October 25th between 6:00-8:30 pm.

Sincerely,

Mr. Dave Campion
Mrs. Dina Castrillon
Mrs. Paige Davino
