Dear PVES Families,
There will be no school tomorrow for our PVCSD students, as this is our scheduled Superintendent’s Conference Day. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, April 1st, and we will welcome in the busy new month!
Schools will also be closed for spring break, which will take place from Monday, April 14th through Monday, April 21st. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, April 22nd.
Thank you so much to all our PTA volunteers who gave their time and energy to our Spring Book Fair! The Auditorium was a busy place all week, and the students certainly enjoyed shopping for new books. Thank you, families, for your support!
We are looking forward to the 3rd Grade Recorder Concert on Wednesday, April 9th, at 7:00 PM. All third-grade families have received an email with details about that event from Mr. Durland. We look forward to a wonderful show!
Third-Quarter Progress Reports will be mailed home to you during the last week of April. As always, if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress at this time, please reach out to your child’s teacher(s). All teachers can be reached via email at first initial, last name@pvcsd.org. We appreciate your communication!
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00 PM for a Budget and Capital Project Q & A to be held in our Elementary Auditorium. Everyone is welcome, and it is so good to ask questions and be informed. Thank you so much for attending, and please be sure to Vote on Tuesday, May 20th in the PVES Cafeteria.
Please be sure to check our Lost & Found Collection in the main hallway. We recommend that all clothing items be labeled on the inside tags. Enjoy the week ahead, and don’t get “fooled” on April Fool’s Day!
We look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday!
Sincerely,
Dr. Margaret Podesta
Principal
