Dear PVES Families,
Spring has officially arrived, and we are all looking forward to a productive week ahead before our spring break begins. Schools will be closed from Monday, March 30th through Monday, April 6th. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, April 7th. We hope you enjoy your family time.
Congratulations to our fourth grade scientists who participated in the Science/Maker Fair this week. A big thank you to Mrs. Bruno and Mrs. Broas for their wonderful efforts with our young learners. We also appreciate the time given by our PVHS Science honor students who helped to guide our fourth graders with their scientific studies. We are so proud of our young researchers and scientific thinkers!
The PTA Spring Book Fair is taking place this week in our ES Auditorium. Each class has a scheduled time when they will visit the fair. Thank you to the many PTA volunteers who are helping to make this event possible. Happy shopping and reading!
Please mark your calendars now for the day of our District Budget Vote, which will be held on Tuesday, May 19th. Voting will take place at the elementary school from 6 AM to 9 PM on that day. Thank you for voting!
If you have a child who will be 5 years old by December 1, 2026, please be sure to call our main office at 845-528-8092 to set up an appointment for Kindergarten registration. Please share this information with your friends and neighbors who live in Putnam Valley. We look forward to welcoming our new elementary students to our Kindergarten Screening days in May.
