Dear PVES Families,
Happy Summer! Congratulations to all our students and families on the completion of a very successful school year! Thank you to our amazing faculty and staff who put so much care and effort into each and every day. The 2022-23 school year was a great one, with many successes, lots of learning, and many happy days. Our PV Pride is strong!
Report Cards for June are available online through the parent portal. Hard copies of these June Report Cards are already in the mail, and they will be arriving at your houses this week. These Report Card envelopes also contain additional important information, such as the Summer Reading Challenge flyer. We would love to see all our elementary students participate in our Summer Reading Challenge this year. The students also received Summer Work Packets to work on throughout the summer, in order to keep academic skills strong. Thank you for supporting this learning and practice!
Our last week of school was a great one! Our Fourth Graders were honored in a beautiful Moving Up Ceremony, and they also celebrated their move to middle school with a Yearbook Breakfast and a Walk of Applause to the buses on Friday. Many classrooms were busy with special activities, and parents were able to visit classes for grade level events. At PVES, we are already cleaning, organizing, and getting set up for the new school year. It will be here before you know it!
I would like to personally thank all of our PVES families for the ongoing support and positive communication you provide throughout the busy school year. PVES is a very special place, but we could not do all that we do with our wonderful parent community. Thank you for staying informed, for supporting good work and learning habits for your children, and for your positive comments and collaboration throughout our school days. The strong partnership that we enjoy with our parent community helps to make our elementary school all that it can be. Thank you!

Enjoy these lazy, hazy summer days. Keep talking, reading, learning, exploring, and playing with your children. And just as a reminder, it is the small moments together with you that they will remember the most!
