Dear PVES Families,
I hope that you are all enjoying a wonderful holiday break with family and friends. The weather has certainly warmed up, and so it’s a great week for the children to play outside in the fresh air. The holiday week goes so quickly, but we are all looking forward to seeing our amazing students on Tuesday, January 3, 2023!
Thank you to all our PVES families for your support of our many holiday festivities this past month at school. The staff and students have had so much fun, all while working so hard to support classroom learning. Our whole-school Sing-Along will now take place on Friday, January 6th. Therefore, all students and staff are welcome to wear Festive Wear (again) on Friday, OR blue & white for PV Pride Day! We look forward to the fun.
Schools will be closed on Monday, January 16th, in honor of Martin Luther King Day. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, January 17th.
Kindergarten Registration is well underway. If you have a child who will be turning 5 years old by December 1, 2023, please call our main office at 845-528-8092. Thank you for sharing this information with your friends and neighbors in the community as well.
I wish you all the very best in the new year! This is the perfect time to talk with your children about their refreshed learning and organizational goals, and to reset good homework, reading, and bedtime habits. Report Cards will be available at the end of January at the midpoint of our school year. As always, if you have any questions about your child’s academic progress, please reach out to our school.
