Dear PVES Families,
The snow is here, and we are still getting ready for the official start of winter! We will welcome the new season with a cozy Pajama Day on this Friday, December 19th. All students and staff are welcome to wear pajamas to school (no slippers, please). We wish you all a warm and healthy week.
We have noticed a rise in seasonal illnesses this past week at PVES, and in the general area as well! Please be sure to keep your children home if they have had a fever or have vomited within the past 24 hours. Sore throats and heavy congestion should be checked by a doctor. As we know, handwashing, getting lots of rest, and eating healthy can help to combat illness. If you have any questions, please contact our health office.
Thank you to so many families who were able to donate items to our first-ever Holiday Bazaar. This wonderful community event was so very successful, with many families visiting our Auditorium yesterday to collect gifts for the holidays. Thank you to Mrs. Robey and Mrs. Kilduff who planned this event, and thank you to our many school helpers who organized and labeled the items on display. This is what PV is all about, and we look forward to doing this again!
All families are invited to the Community Potluck this Wednesday evening at the Middle School. This free event will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on December 17th. Please bring a dish to share, and enjoy conversation and community connections. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
