Dear PVES Families,
Happy Friday! We look forward to seeing many of you at the PTA Holiday Reads and the PTA Holiday Boutique tomorrow at PVES, beginning at 11:00. Please come with your children to enjoy stories, crafts, and treats, and help bring in the holiday season. This is always such a nice event.
Our first-grade students will perform their Winter Concert on this Thursday, December 12th, at 2:00 in our Auditorium. First grade families are welcome to join us for this wonderful performance. We thank the first-grade team and Mrs. Calhoun for the caring work they are doing with these students. It’s sure to be a great show.
Please consider donating to our Character Education Committee’s Holiday Drive. The attachment is in the Weekly Notices for you to view. We look forward to helping the Women’s Shelter at the Putnam Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center again during this holiday season. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
Schools will be closed for the holiday break from Monday, December 23rd, through Wednesday, January 1st. Schools will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020.
You are welcome to join our former Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Fran Wills, as she participates on a discussion panel that explores the impact of social media in our lives. Please see the attachment that gives details of this event being held at the Ossining Public Library’s Budarz Theater on December 12th at 6:30 PM. This is sure to be an informative and important discussion.
