PVMS Mandarin Chinese Distance Learning teacher, Ping Moroney, makes a visit to PVMS to hold class in person and celebrate Chinese New Year. Mrs. Moroney also visited with Mr. Posch’s sixth-grade Social Studies classes to talk about the Chinese culture and had chance to speak a bit of Mandarin. While there, Mrs. Moroney presented a gift to two of her students. A drawing of their dogs. What Mrs. Moroney did not know, was that she would receive a gift too! Student Elizabeth Link presented Mrs. Moroney with a drawing that she made of Mrs. Moroney’s dog.
The track and turf at Putnam Valley High School are currently CLOSED for scheduled repair and replacement. This project will continue through the summer months.
