Several students were recently invited to join with representatives from the Hudson Highlands Land Trust for an hour-long educational program and birding hike. Granite Mountain, an area nestled between Oscawana Lake Road and Peekskill Hollow Road, was recently acquired by the Land Trust and is now preserved land.
