Dear PVES Families,
Have you signed up for your Parent//Teacher Conferences yet? Please remember to sign up online or email the teachers with whom you would like to meet in November. We look forward to seeing you! All faculty can be reached at first initial, last name@pvcsd.org.
We are looking forward to a busy week ahead. Our teachers continue with our first quarter teaching, along with performing reading assessments and end-of-quarter units. We are also looking forward to our First Responder Day on Wednesday, a visit from the Harlem Wizards on Thursday, and our school Halloween parade (for students only) on Friday. All students are welcome to bring their costumes to school on Friday (no prop weapons or scary masks please), and they will enjoy a student-centered parade that day. This will be recorded for parents to enjoy at home. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please check the November calendar carefully, as we have a busy month ahead. There will be no school for students next Tuesday, November 3rd, for Superintendent’s Conference Day.
Enjoy this festive week and the beautiful fall weather. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour this coming Saturday!
Thank you for all you do!
Sincerely,
Dr. Margaret Podesta
Principal
