Dear PVES Families,
Thank you to all our parents and guardians for participating in our important Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences this past month. As we move forward, please continue to reach out to your child’s teachers if you have any questions or concerns. It is essential that we work together and communicate openly as we support our students in reaching their academic and behavioral goals.
The PTA Fall Scholastic Book Fair begins this week! The Book Fair will be open on Monday, November 17th through the early morning of Friday, November 21st. Please feel free to visit the Book Fair at your child’s assigned class visit time, and after school on Wednesday, November 19th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
Our third and fourth grade students will be presenting the Olympic Gym Show on Wednesday, November 19th, at 7:00 PM. Thank you to Mrs. Aurigemma and Mr. Heitman for their hard work with these student athletes. We look forward to a great event!
Picture re-takes and sibling photos will be held this Friday, November 21st in our PVES Auditorium. Please see the attached flyer in our Weekly Notices.
Thank you to the PTA for providing our faculty with some coffee and treats during our long afternoons of conferences. We truly appreciate your support, generosity, and your kindness!
Holiday Drive Collections are beginning in our schools, and we look forward to collecting your donations to help others. Please see the attached flyer and start gathering slightly used toys, clothes, household items and other donations that may help to make the holidays of other families even happier. More information to come on upcoming events!

Schools will be closed for all PV students from Wednesday, November 26th through Friday, November 28th, for the Thanksgiving holiday. We look forward to seeing everyone back in school on Monday, December 1st.
This Thursday evening, the Putnam Valley School District is sponsoring a “Read and Rise” event: Building Children’s Literacy at Home. Parents and guardians of children ages 0-6 are welcome to join this literacy-centered evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the PVES library. Please come join other parents that evening to talk about reading and supporting literacy at home. We would love to see you!
