Thank you to our incredible PTA for the kind and generous Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week activities this past week. We thank our PTA for their amazing efforts for our faculty and staff. We all felt so appreciated, and we are so grateful. Thank you for being such an incredible team!
Please mark your calendars to vote in our PV District Budget Vote on Tuesday, May 21st! Voting will be taking place in our PVES Cafeteria from 6 AM to 9 PM, and your vote counts! We are looking forward to including our elementary students in a voting process as well, as it is so important to learn about civic engagement and voting participation! More information to come!
Welcome back to Ms. Cierra Espineira, who will be substituting for our reading intervention teacher, Mrs. Funicelli, as she awaits the birth of her baby. Ms. Espineira knows our school and our students very well, and we look forward to her continued success in this reading position. (And best wishes to the Funicelli family at this exciting time)!
We are looking forward to the 4th Grade Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 22nd, at 6:30 PM. Fourth grade families will also soon be receiving information about tickets to the 4th Grade Moving Up Ceremony which will be held on Monday, June 24th, at 10 AM. (Tickets will be limited to 3 per family, due to fire code regulations).
Enjoy the week ahead. Our classes are busy with academics, field trips, assemblies, and parent events. We are so proud of our students’ progress, and we look forward to continued growth in this final quarter of the school year.
