Dear PVES Families,
Welcome back to school tomorrow after a long and hopefully relaxing spring break! April is here, and we are ready to begin the final and very busy stretch of the school year. This is a time of great growth and achievement for your wonderful children, and we are ready to support them and watch them thrive over the next three months. Here we go!
Thank you to the PTA and all our volunteers who helped to make the Spring Book Fair so successful. We could not have these important events without all of you, and we greatly appreciate your time and efforts. The Putnam Valley Education Foundation (PVEF) will be holding its Spring Gala this Sunday, April 11th, from 12:00 to 4:00 at The Garrison. Please see the attached flyer, and thank you for your support!
Our Third Quarter of the school year will end on Friday, April 17th. Progress Reports will be mailed home soon after that. As always, if you would like to speak with your child’s teacher(s) or set up a meeting, please send an email to set this up. All faculty can be reached via email at first initial, last name@pvcsd.org.
All families of students currently in Grades K through 3 received an email last week including a Google Form requesting any student information that might help with placement for the 2026-27 school year. We thank you for your input, which should be submitted by the end of May.
We look forward to the Third Grade Recorder Concert next week, and all of the special events and activities that the spring season brings. Our district Budget Vote will take place on Tuesday, May 19th from 6 AM to 9 PM at PVES. Please mark your calendars. We will continue to keep you posted on all of our school events and special days. Let’s keep our students rested, organized, and ready to continue to make amazing progress in all areas. We thank you for your support!
