Good afternoon,

I’m hopeful that everyone is staying well and finding a new normal within our currently abnormal world. We recognize the current hardships that many are facing.

In accordance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order, the Putnam Valley Central School District is gathering information to determine if we have first responders or essential healthcare professionals in our community who need assistance with childcare for students, Ages 5-12. Please fill out the following survey if you believe you meet either of these criteria and require childcare during the weekday between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm and a representative from the school district will be in touch with you.  In the event that you believe you meet these criteria and are unable to complete this form, please contact Jeannie Denike (jdenike@pvcsd.org).  Please complete this form by Monday, March 23, at 4 pm.

The district is working to partner with a community-based childcare provider, which would help keep community members working while providing this essential service to our community members who qualify.  In the event that we are unable to find a community partner, the school district will provide this service for first responders and essential healthcare personnel in our community.

If you are a first responder or essential healthcare worker who is interested in using this childcare service so that you can report to work, please complete the form below before 4 pm on Monday, March 23.  We will be in direct contact with any community member who is interested and qualifies.
