There’s an app for that…
Just over a year ago, we launched our very own PV app. As more and more people seek information on their mobile devices we wanted to provide direct access to the district’s most sought after information in the most convenient format. Recognizing trends in social technology and the unprecedented use of smartphones, the app allows us to better connect and collaborate with our school community.
Please download our free app – Putnam Valley CSD – from iTunes or Google Play. Take a look around the app to see the information available at your fingertips. Be sure to go to Settings to personalize what information you receive and check out our News Stream for all of our top stories. Please feel free to provide feedback by clicking the Comments box. Tell us what you like and what you would like to be able to find in the app. With your feedback the app will continue to evolve and improve.
Being able to reach out to our community, notify you of emergencies, and keep you informed and involved in our schools is critical. Downloading the app will ensure that emergency messages are immediately delivered to your cell phone. No matter what personalized settings you choose, emergency notifications will be delivered. Please also remember to update and verify your demographic information in PowerSchool.
