Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I hope the beautiful weather finds you and your families safe and healthy.

Like so many, I have spent a lot of time reflecting on the troubling times we are facing in our nation.  The Putnam Valley Central School District is committed to helping parents support their children through these unsettling times.  The district leadership team, in cooperation with the entire PVCSD staff, is committed to a renewed focus on conversations, resources, events and continued education to teach the need for social justice for all, with no room for racism and bias.  Our district is committed to this important work, and we welcome your input and involvement.  Putnam Valley will always be a safe place to learn and grow, and the students we are teaching will help to bring the change that is needed in the world.  That change begins today.

Please visit the PVCSD Continuity of Instruction Plan for updated information, resources to support your family and conversations with your children, and new childcare information from Putnam County.

Childcare needs:  Please visit https://www.childcaredutchess.org/cares-scholarship.html for information regarding the CARES Scholarship for children of essential workers and emergency responders.
