Please be reminded that there will be no school on this Thursday, September 16<sup>th<\/sup>, in honor of Yom Kippur. Schools will reopen on Friday, September 17<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Our PTA\/PVES Picnic will take place on our back playground lawn at 5:00 on Friday, weather permitting. Please bring your picnic dinner and dessert for your family, lawn chairs or blankets, and enjoy the time together. Please be sure to supervise your own children throughout the picnic, as this is not a drop-off event. We look forward to a wonderful time with the famous Bubble Bus!<\/p>\n<p>Our Back-to-School Nights will be held on Monday and Tuesday of this week. We recommend that one parent\/guardian for each child attend the event, but two are certainly allowed if that works for your family. Parents\/Guardians ONLY of students in Grades 3 and 4 are invited to attend the event on Monday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.\u00a0 Parents\/Guardians ONLY of students in Grades 1 and 2 are invited to attend the event on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.\u00a0 The evenings will begin at 6:30 in the Cafeteria (across from the big gym) where you are welcome to check in with our Specials Teachers and Professional Support Staff. We will then all gather briefly in the Auditorium at 7:00 with distanced seating for a brief Welcome and Introduction time.\u00a0 Parents will then move to their children\u2019s classrooms to hear important curriculum and classroom information at 7:15. The evening will end at 8:00 PM, and <u>masks<\/u> are required for everyone in attendance.\u00a0 We are looking forward to welcoming you in person!\u00a0 Students should not attend these Back-to-School Night events. Thank you for your cooperation!<\/p>\n<p>You will be receiving our updated information for our November Parent\/Teacher Conference Schedules this week from your child\u2019s classroom teacher.\u00a0 As always, if you have questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out to your child\u2019s teachers as needed, either by phone or email.\u00a0 All faculty members can be reached via email by <em>first intial,last name @pvcsd.org<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the week ahead.
