{"id":7803,"date":"2020-06-01T15:12:24","date_gmt":"2020-06-01T19:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pvcsd.org\/?p=7803"},"modified":"2020-06-01T15:12:24","modified_gmt":"2020-06-01T19:12:24","slug":"june-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pvcsd.org\/index.php\/ms\/middle-school-letter\/june-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"June 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7806\" src=\"http:\/\/pvcsd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/download.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"244\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pvcsd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/download.png 244w, https:\/\/pvcsd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/download-207x175.png 207w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 244px) 100vw, 244px\" \/>Dear PVMS Families,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have entered the final stretch!\u00a0 June is here and we have a full three weeks of instruction before our final day of school on Friday, June 19th.\u00a0 We know that it has been a long road with distance learning and we appreciate your partnership.\u00a0 Your collaboration has been essential and I want to thank you for everything that you have been able to do for your children during these remote times.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The end of the year can be overwhelming but now is the time to stay organized and to check PowerSchool.\u00a0 Reach out to teachers if you are noticing that your child is struggling to complete work or they don\u2019t understand certain concepts.\u00a0 It is imperative to do this before the end of the marking period.\u00a0 We are hopeful that everyone can be successful especially in a time where final exams, Regents exams, and NYS assessments have been put on hold.\u00a0 Please ensure that the next three weeks will be a time where your children complete work fully and put in their best effort possible so they are prepared for September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><b>Key Calendar Events<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>Friday, June 5th &#8211; Sunday, June 7th &#8211;\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Middle School Musical \u201cThe Addams Family\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dress Rehearsal Recordings will be available to view.\u00a0 As you might know, we made recordings of our two dress rehearsals as a \u201cjust in case,\u201d even though we had every hope and intention of putting on the show. Now that we know we will not be in school for the rest of the school year, we are planning on setting up a way for you to view these dress rehearsal recordings this coming weekend, June 5th.\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/pvcsd.org\/pvms-drama-2020\/home\"><b>The links will be available on June 5th and will be posted.
