VIDEO:\u00a0 PVHS Freshman Parent Orientation<\/a><\/h3>\n

Dear Parents and Guardians,<\/p>\n

With the recent COVID19 school closure, we are unable to hold our annual\u00a0 9th-grade Orientation meeting with parents. However, we want to make sure that all families have the information necessary to help their children adjust to the high school next year. As a result, we are sending out the recording of our 9th Grade Orientation night from last year to view at your convenience. This video highlights important information that can assist you when discussing academic programs at the high school with your child. During the video orientation, parents will learn about graduation requirements, course offerings, the schedule, our PVHS Community Lunch, and the new International Baccalaureate Program. The video begins with a brief presentation on the topic of vaping by Frank Guglieri, our Regional Safety Director who also presented to our student community in an assembly this past year. We hope you find the video informative and helpful. Once we return to school, we will plan a \u201cmeet and greet\u201d and a series of orientation meetings for your children so that everyone is familiar with the staff at the high school and can address their questions and concerns in a comfortable setting.<\/p>\n

You will be receiving a ConnectEd message from Ms. Coleman, your PVMS 8th-grade guidance counselor, with information about the course selection process.<\/p>\n
