Happy Friday!\u00a0 I would like to thank the parents of students in Grades 1 and 2 for attending our busy Back to School Night this week!\u00a0 It was a wonderful evening of district, building, and curriculum information, and our teachers worked hard to be prepared to communicate the important highlights of the current school year and schedules with you.\u00a0 Please be sure that you have signed up for our parent\/teacher conferences in November.\u00a0 As always, if you have any questions or concerns, we want to hear from you.\u00a0 We look forward to a positive and productive year ahead!<\/p>\n
Our school nurse, Kathy Hill, is reminding us that this year, New York state has made some changes regarding physical examination requirements.\u00a0 Children entering Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 3 are now required to submit a physical exam from their doctor. \u00a0Any exam dated on or after September 1, 2017 would be accepted.\u00a0 Physical examination forms can be downloaded from the school website, www.pvcsd.org.<\/p>\n
Please mark your calendars for the Putnam Valley Education Foundation’s Color Run on Sunday, September 30th, at 2:00 PM!\u00a0 We are all looking forward to a wonderful, fun-filled event, with lots of color and laughs!\u00a0 Please also be sure to also check the Putnam Valley PTA website at www.putnamvalleypta.org for volunteer opportunities and calendar events.\u00a0 We welcome the chance to involve our community in so much that we do, and we thank you for your time and efforts!<\/p>\n
School Picture Day is October 1st!\u00a0 Let’s get those smiles ready.<\/p>\n
