Dear PVMS Families,<\/p>\n
The month of May has arrived with the sight of flowers and warmer weather.\u00a0 You will see our students have many opportunities to blossom as well.\u00a0\u00a0 Please join us in finishing strong these last two months of school.\u00a0 Children will be busy with activities outside of school, but this reminds us to stay on schedule and grow academically.<\/p>\n
Events \u2013 Congratulations to All Involved<\/strong><\/p>\n Our musical, \u201cThe Wiz,\u201d was unbelievable.\u00a0 There was an array of students that came together for this production.\u00a0 The children on stage embodied their roles and became those characters.\u00a0 Thank you to the Stage and Scenery Crew, who did all the behind the scene work for the show and of course our actors.\u00a0 It was truly amazing to see staff, students, and families support this show.<\/p>\n Congratulations to our thirty new members of the PVMS National Junior Honor Society.\u00a0 These students exemplify: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.\u00a0 We look forward to hearing about their future goals and accomplishments.<\/p>\n End of Year Details<\/strong><\/p>\n We will have full school days for the remainder of the school year with the exception of Thursday, June 14th<\/sup> when the 7th<\/sup> and 8th<\/sup> graders will take the Earth Science Regents and local science exams in the morning from 7:36 \u2013 11:00 and then be bussed home.\u00a0 Our 5th<\/sup> and 6th<\/sup> graders will arrive around 10:45 and be bussed home at 2:34.\u00a0 We are providing you with this information now so that you may make arrangements if needed.\u00a0 A bus schedule will be provided to help plan and prepare for the later time pick up on those dates.<\/p>\n In addition, our last day of school will be on Friday, June 22nd<\/sup> and this will be a half-day for students.\u00a0 Busses will dismiss from the Middle School around 11:00.<\/p>\n Mark Your Calendar \u2013 We are Busy!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, May 2nd<\/sup> \u2013 NYS Math Assessments<\/p>\n Thursday, May 3rd<\/sup> \u2013 NYS Math Assessments<\/p>\n Tuesday, May 8th<\/sup> \u2013 5th<\/sup> and 6th<\/sup> Grade Chorus Concert\u00a0 – 7:00 p.m. H.S.
