Dear Putnam Valley Community:<\/span><\/p>\n

I am excited to announce the launch of the Putnam Valley School District app.\u00a0 As more and more people seek information on their mobile devices we wanted to provide direct access to the district\u2019s most sought after information in the most convenient format.\u00a0 Recognizing trends in social technology and the unprecedented use of smartphones, the app allows us to better connect and collaborate with our school community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please download our free app \u2013 Putnam Valley CSD – from iTunes or Google Play.\u00a0 Take a look around the app to see the information available at your fingertips. Be sure to go to Settings to personalize what information you receive.\u00a0 Please provide feedback by clicking the green Comments box. Tell us what you like and what you would like to be able to find in the app. With your feedback the app will continue to evolve and improve.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being able to reach out to our community, notify you of emergencies, and keep you informed and involved in our schools is critical.\u00a0 After the mass communication delay our region experienced with Blackboard Connect on Friday, we are reminded of the importance of having multiple forms of communication. Downloading the app will ensure that emergency messages are immediately delivered to your cell phone.\u00a0 No matter what personalized settings you choose, emergency notifications will be delivered.<\/span><\/p>\n
