Happy November! I hope that you and your children enjoyed a safe and happy Halloween. Our school festivities were just wonderful on Friday, and our school parade video is posted on our website. Thank you for making these memories so special for your children! Thank you to our staff members who dressed up in amazingly creative costumes for the day. We had so much fun!<\/p>\n

Thank you to the incredible group of First Responders who visited our school on Wednesday morning. All classes greeted visitors who read stories and talked about their important work, and students even had the chance to tour an ambulance up close. We thank our First Responders for their time and energy, and we thank our PTA who made them feel so welcome!<\/p>\n Our students also had a visit from a very enthusiastic Harlem Wizard on Thursday! Please see the attached flyer for the upcoming Harlem Wizards basketball game at PVHS on November 10th, at 7:00 PM. This game serves as a fundraiser for the Varsity Cheerleading team. In our Weekly Notices, you will also see a flyer for an upcoming Softball Clinic supporting the PVHS Varsity Softball team.<\/p>\n We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow. Schools will be closed for all students on this Tuesday (Superintendent\u2019s Conference Day). Please check the November calendar items carefully here, as some school day schedules are affected:<\/p>\n November 3rd: No School for Students (Superintendent\u2019s Conference Day)<\/b><\/p>\n November 10th: Half-Day (12:00) Dismissal for Elementary Students (Conferences)<\/b><\/p>\n November 11th: No School (Veterans Day)<\/b><\/p>\n November 16th-20th: Book Fair at PVES<\/b><\/p>\n November 18th: Book Fair open after school hours\/Parent Teacher Conferences 5:00-8:00<\/b><\/p>\n November 23rd: Gym Show at 6:30 PM<\/b><\/p>\n November 24th: Half-Day (12:00) Dismissal for Elementary students<\/b><\/p>\n November 25th-November 27th: Schools Closed (Thanksgiving recess)<\/b><\/p>\n December 1st:\u00a0 PVES Picture Re-take Day<\/b><\/p>\n Please check your child\u2019s Homework Folder for an updated QR Code that will lead you to our Parent\/Student (FAQ) Guide that was created by our Building Steering Committee over the past couple of years. This Guide, which is also posted on our elementary website, will lead you to a great deal of information about our school and community events and procedures.
