On the evening of March 25, 2025, the Putnam Valley Middle School proudly held the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction Ceremony, where 34 deserving students were inducted into this prestigious organization. The ceremony, held in the middle school dining hall, was a momentous occasion that recognized the hard work, dedication, and outstanding character of these young scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

Family, friends, and faculty members gathered to celebrate the achievements of the inductees, who demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. McCarty and Ms. Ortiz (NJHS Advisor) facilitated\u00a0 the ceremony with members of the Putnam Valley Chapter of the National Honor Society who joined as keynote speakers. Aidan Cassidy NHS member and co-chair of the blood drive and <\/span>Eliza Osmanaj<\/span> NHS member, IB candidate, and the 2024 Holiday Toy Drive Co-chair spoke eloquently and <\/span>emphasized the importance of integrity, academic excellence, and community involvement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Each student was formally inducted with a candle-lighting ceremony & book signing, symbolizing their commitment to uphold the values of the NJHS. The inductees took their oath, marking the beginning of their journey as part of this distinguished group.<\/span><\/p>\n

Congratulations to all 34 inductees for their remarkable accomplishments and continued dedication to excellence. We look forward to seeing their continued contributions to both their school and community in the years ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n
