The ceremony, held in the middle school dining hall, was a momentous occasion that recognized the hard work, dedication, and outstanding character of these young scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Family, friends, and faculty members gathered to celebrate the achievements of the inductees, who demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr. McCarty and Ms. Ortiz (NJHS Advisor) facilitated\u00a0 the ceremony with members of the Putnam Valley Chapter of the National Honor Society who joined as keynote speakers. Aidan Cassidy NHS member and co-chair of the blood drive and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eliza Osmanaj<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NHS member, IB candidate, and the 2024 Holiday Toy Drive Co-chair spoke eloquently and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">emphasized the importance of integrity, academic excellence, and community involvement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each student was formally inducted with a candle-lighting ceremony &amp; book signing, symbolizing their commitment to uphold the values of the NJHS. The inductees took their oath, marking the beginning of their journey as part of this distinguished group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Congratulations to all 34 inductees for their remarkable accomplishments and continued dedication to excellence.
