Dear Putnam Valley Community:<\/p>\n
This afternoon, administrators at Putnam Valley High School were made aware of concerning messages exchanged between several Putnam Valley students. The messages were posted on social media. Aligned with our protocols, the District initiated a threat assessment and contacted the Putnam County Sheriff\u2019s Office. At this time, we have determined there is no threat to the Putnam Valley School District or its students. We will continue to actively work with the Sheriff\u2019s Office to fully investigate this matter.<\/p>\n
We always take these types of reports very seriously and work closely with law enforcement to investigate and respond appropriately.<\/p>\n
