Dear PVES Families,<\/p>\n
Voting Day is here! Be sure to vote in our Putnam Valley School District Vote on this Tuesday, May 21st<\/sup><\/strong>, from 6 AM to 9 PM in our Elementary Cafeteria! Your children can participate in our Elementary Kids\u2019 Vote<\/strong> in a special location in the cafeteria too! The students have been learning about the importance of Civic Engagement and elections, and they will be able to participate in a PVES election, choosing a special Field Day treat. The children can accompany you to the voting booths in the early morning hours or after school up until 9:00 PM. Voting stickers are ready for them! Thank you so much for voting. Your voices should be heard.<\/p>\n Our elementary students (only) will have a half-day of school on this Thursday, May 23rd<\/sup>. Dismissal will take place at 12:00 noon. There will be no school from Friday, May 24th<\/sup> through Tuesday, May 28th<\/sup> in honor of Memorial Day.<\/p>\n We are looking forward to the Fourth Grade Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 22nd<\/sup>, at 6:30 PM. The children are well prepared for this performance, and it is sure to be a wonderful show! Thank you to Mrs. Calhoun and Mrs. Bennett for their wonderful work with our students.<\/p>\n We are looking forward to our Annual Community Read tomorrow. Every elementary classroom has a scheduled visiting reader. Our students are so fortunate to attend school in such a loving and supportive community.<\/p>\n Enjoy the short week ahead.
