{"id":11457,"date":"2023-05-25T08:34:05","date_gmt":"2023-05-25T12:34:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pvcsd.org\/?p=11457"},"modified":"2023-06-01T08:36:56","modified_gmt":"2023-06-01T12:36:56","slug":"midpoint-of-quarter-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pvcsd.org\/index.php\/hs\/high-school-letter\/midpoint-of-quarter-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Midpoint of Quarter 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Dear Putnam Valley HS Parents\/Guardians,<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We are in the home stretch of the school year.\u00a0 The May IB\/AP exams are complete!\u00a0 133 students took 36 exams, writing 687 papers in 14 days of testing.\u00a0 This was quite an undertaking for our students, especially seniors, who staved off senioritis and worked hard through the end.\u00a0 We also had 111 freshmen and sophomores in 4 AP courses take 162 AP exams.\u00a0 More students are challenging themselves in more rigorous classes than ever before.\u00a0 We are so proud of our students and staff for embracing an educational culture that places academic rigor at the forefront of our community.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Midpoint of Quarter 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">May 19th marked the midpoint of the 4th quarter.\u00a0 Teachers have updated grades and comments.\u00a0 Please take a look at your child\u2019s progress and attendance.\u00a0 We encourage you to contact your child\u2019s teacher with questions or concerns.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>June 1st US History Regents &#8211;
