Dear PVHS Families,<\/p>\n
At this time, New York State, the College Board and the International Baccalaureate Organization are all moving forward with end of the year assessments. We recognize that this might be stressful for students after several years of not having these cumulative assessments, but our teachers are committed to supporting our students with plenty of time for review as well as strategies to prepare for the assessments and decompress.<\/p>\n
In this communication, we are including the upcoming AP and IB schedule for May. For AP and IB exams, students are expected to be in school the entire day and will only be released with a written parent communication.<\/p>\n
Please remind your children of the following:<\/p>\n
\u00a0No cell phones or smart watches<\/strong> are allowed into the testing room.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The only beverage allowed to be consumed during testing is water.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n All students who are testing on a particular day are required to be located outside of the gym by 7:45 am<\/strong> for morning exams and 11:45<\/strong> for afternoon exams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Please note that on Thursday, May 12th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will be returning home from an 11:30 am release schedule<\/strong>.
