Dear Putnam Valley Community:
This morning, administrators at Putnam Valley High School were made aware of concerning messages directed toward a few Putnam Valley students. The messages were posted online by another Putnam Valley student last evening. We immediately contacted the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. They have made contact with the individual and have determined there is no threat to the Putnam Valley School District or its students. We will continue to actively work with the Sheriff’s Office to fully investigate this matter.
We always take reports very seriously and work closely with law enforcement to investigate and respond appropriately.
