On April 28th, 2008, Putnam Valley High School
proudly inducted 36 new members to the
National Honor Society. Following the procession
of the new members, the Pledge of Allegiance was
led by inductee Kristen Macher, and the welcoming
remarks read by chapter President, Esther Sportello.
Selected inductees addressed the attributes of
the National Honor Society: Anastasia Bailhache
spoke on Scholarship, Giovanna Spica on Character,
Lindsey Wood on Service, and Courtney Bobik on
Leadership

Pledge
I pledge myself to uphold the high purposes of

Administrative

of Schools; Richard Herlihy, Interim Principal;
and Board of Education Trustees Frank Reale and
Guy Cohen. The members of the National Honor Society
Faculty Committee are faculty members Regina Albano,
Linda Cefaloni, Jerri Cohen, Vincent DeGregorio,
and Lisa Penta, and the National Honor Society
Advisor is Edward Schmitt.
